Here is a quick summary on what the Beadathon is all about - 24 hours of continuous lampwork bead making by 10 UK Lampwork artists working in shifts through the night and day. All beads made and funds raised will be donated to UK based childhood cancer awareness charily called Be Child Cancer Aware for the Beads of Courage program which is a wonderful project!

I went to the Beads of Courage program page - what a wonderful gift for these children! I think it is so awesome for all of you to do the beadathon to donate to this great cause. I noticed on the side bar a link for "Bead Bags", I am unable to donate $ to the cause, but I do have lots of material and a sewing machine, and will make some for the kids.
