Heart texture with gold and silver leaf..

I have been experimenting a lot lately with the new texture plates and metal leaf  - usually gold leaf - but yesterday I tried out silver leaf too. I find the distressed look and touch of shine coupled with how tactile these beads are to be a really appealing combination

New heart focal beads......

A few of the beads that the kiln fairies left for me to discover this morning from yesterday's bead making sesh..

3 of these are made with Double Helix Terra 3 - my first go at working with this glass and the results are wildly different from one another!

Below is an encased heart with heart textures underneath the clear layer. The base glass is Double Helix Triton with a heavy reduction. 

All of these beads have been given some sort of tactile or visual texture with my new texture plate tools.
